Our Announced Commitments

Steven Miles and Labor believe in being upfront with the people of Queensland about what our election promises cost, and how we will fund them.

This page will be regularly updated with a list of election commitments, and their cost. All commitments are funded from additional borrowings, unless otherwise indicated.

In contrast, David Crisafulli is making promises without saying how he will pay for them. He has promised lower revenue and lower debt. This happened in 2012 and, when the LNP finally got into Government, they used these unfunded promises to justify sacking 14,000 government workers, cutting infrastructure and destroying the Queensland economy.
